The Birth of
FOSTER Technology

The company was founded by Dr. Jason Zheng Jiang, a world-renowned expert in Dynamics and Control, and a professor at the University of Bristol. Over the past two decades, Jason has successfully led the development of synthetic design technologies. These excellent methodological advancements have stimulated multiple industrially-funded projects in the automotive, rail, and wind energy industries. The research projects all demonstrate over 50% performance improvement. Within a year, industry demand for such research projects have tripled. All industrial partners see great commercial opportunity and ask: when can the results be turned into products?

In order to transform these excellent theoretical results in to end products, FOSTER was formed. Being an independent private company, FOSTER utilises industrial and commercial expertise in combination with academic excellence to bring the technology to market.

FOSTER is developing next-generation IP-protected engineering products which can be directly integrated into automotive, rail, aero, wind energy systems and beyond, resulting in wide-spread cross industry adoption.

FOSTER Technology draws its inspiration from R. M. Foster, an accomplished mathematician and engineer.
